Exploring  South Africa.

South Africa is one of those rare places that stays with you long after you’ve left — a country where every horizon feels like a postcard and every day brings something new to discover.

From golden savannahs filled with wildlife to dramatic coastlines, world‑class wine regions, and vibrant cities rich with history, this is a destination that rewards anyone who gives it time.

If you’re travelling all the way here for our wedding, we’d love for you to experience more than just the celebration. Whether it’s a few days in Johannesburg, a safari adventure in Kruger, or a coastal escape in Cape Town, South Africa offers unforgettable moments at every turn.

View our International Travel Guide to explore how you could make the most out of your holiday.

Flying from London to South Africa

When it comes to booking your flight, you can book this 1 year in advance. It's recommended to set up any alerts for the best pricing. We'd recommend a direct flight through British Airways or Virgin Atlantic for those who want ease, but sometimes a connecting flight in Paris, Amsterdam or Switzerland can be cheaper.

OR Tambo to Mauritius or Madagascar

Guests who want to turn their trip into a once‑in‑a‑lifetime adventure can also explore the islands of Madagascar or Mauritius, both just a short flight from Johannesburg. After attending the wedding, guests can take the recommended shuttle directly from the venue back to OR Tambo Airport, making it easy to connect to an island getaway.

Whether it’s Madagascar’s wild rainforests and unique wildlife or Mauritius’ turquoise lagoons and white‑sand beaches, these destinations offer the perfect way to unwind after the celebrations.

We're finally saying 'I do'!
